The Hermit
The Hermit is also known as The Monk. This card symbolises solitude, withdrawal and self-reflection. This card stands for an introvert phase of life.

You shield yourself from external influences in order to get closer to yourself. This card represents two extremes: the depths of experience and the heights of insight.

Many people unjustly see The Hermit as a 'bad' card. They think this card is a harbinger of loneliness and abandonment.
They are wrong. This card indicates introspection.

Introspection, in this case, leads to insight. To knowing that what other people think is not important. And to realising, that what YOU feel is the deciding factor when making decisions.

Love and relationships
In your personal relationships this card may indicate loneliness within your relationship. It may also be that you are searching for the meaning of your current relationship and question how secure this relationship is. In any case, you are clearly searching for answers.

Work and career
Regarding your work The Hermit shows you that you are contemplating. Are you really happy with you current job? Or with the job you want? Are you sure you don't want something different? Believe in yourself and make choices that you think are right no matter what other people think.
